Our science class will do a Zoom meeting every Monday from 9-10am:

9:45-10:00 5th Hour
I am having them on Mondays because a bunch of you said you want to keep our “Weekend Stories” going, so this will be the perfect time to do that!

This is what science class will “look like” during our distance learning adventure:
This Week’s (April 1-3) Assignments (You can find these in your Google Classroom):
–Volcano Information table (in your Google Classroom)
Where: Weekly lessons, and assignments will be posted to Google Classroom each week on Monday.
When: A new set of assignments, will be posted every Monday at 9 am. You will have until Friday at 4;00 pm to complete and turn in that week’s assignment.
Grading: Just like in class, practice assignments will be graded using 3, 2 or 1 and entered as “practice” in IC. Quizzes and tests will be graded on a 4, 3, 2, 1 rubric and entered as “assessment” in IC. (We will only be doing “practice” assignments to begin with.)
Attendance: I will be taking attendance every Friday. I must see that you have been working on assignments to be counted as present. Not working on assignments by Friday will count as being absent.
Lessons: Most of the lessons will be delivered through videos and virtual labs attached to each assignment. If you have questions, please email me during the hours listed below.
Office Hours: I will use Gmail to host office hours for two hours on M, T, Th, and F, and one hour on Wed. Please email me if you have any questions or need help during my office hours listed below and I will respond as soon as I receive the email. I will also use Zoom video conferencing when you need to show me something that you need help with. Zoom will allow us to talk through the internet, using either audio or video.
